Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what data Rana eSports collects, why, and how it's protected — in plain language.
1. Information We Collect
- Account info: mobile number, username, real name, in-game name (IGN), Free Fire UID, role, bio, and an optional avatar.
- Squad & chat data: messages, team membership, voice/video call participation, and team-finder cards.
- Subscription info: which plan you're on and its expiry date. Card/bank details are handled entirely by our payment gateway — we never see or store them.
- Device info: device model, OS version, and a push-notification token (used for alerts and crash diagnostics).
- Usage & website data: which features you use most, plus anonymous site analytics (visits, downloads, ratings).
We never collect your Free Fire account password, full payment card details, or your device contacts/call logs.
Your in-game name (IGN) and Free Fire UID are used only to show your identity to other players inside Team Finder and squad features, so genuine teammates can find and recognize you. We never use this information to log in to, modify, or take any action on your Free Fire account, and we never sell or share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
2. Permissions We Request & Why
- Notifications — messages, calls, and plan updates.
- Camera — profile photo and video calls.
- Microphone — voice and video calls with your squad.
- Screen share — only while you're actively sharing in a call.
- Gallery / photos — avatar and saved assets (plan-dependent).
Every permission is requested only when needed, with an on-screen explanation first. Denying one never crashes the app — it only locks that single feature.
3. Voice & Screen Share
Voice calls and screen sharing run through our real-time communication provider and are not recorded or stored on our servers.
4. Isolation Between Users
Every account's chat, notifications, saved team-finder cards, and search history are private and enforced both in the app and on our servers. Only what you choose to make public — username, avatar, IGN, role, and bio — is visible to others via profile search.
5. Infrastructure We Rely On
Rana eSports runs on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure for core functions such as account login, real-time messaging, media storage, voice/video calls, and payment processing. Each service only receives the minimum data it needs to perform that one function, under its own strict data-protection terms, and none of them are permitted to use your data for advertising or resell it.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

8A. Compliance With Indian Data Protection Law
We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules made under them. Under the DPDP Act, you are a "Data Principal" and Rana eSports acts as the "Data Fiduciary" for the account information described in Section 1. We collect only what is needed for the stated purposes, do not use your data beyond those purposes without your consent, and honour the access, correction, and erasure rights set out in Section 9 below.
